THE CHRISTMAS THEMED PUZZLES
|
Solving the puzzles will allow the investigator to eliminate suspects, reindeer accomplices and sleigh destinations until only the guilty items remain.
OTHER ITEMS TO DISCOVER
As well as solving the mystery, the puzzle book recipient will need to try and answer the following four questions:
- What unusual ingredient is Mrs Christmas using to flavour her Christmas puddings this year?
- An effigy of which unexpected character will Father Christmas be placing on the top of the Christmas tree this year?
- What unusual type of Christmas is the investigator being wished by the North Pole folk?
- What special Christmas/New Year message are they sending the investigator?
TWO BOOKS EACH WITH A DIFFERENT SOLUTION
There are two different books to choose from - Book 1 and Book 2. Each book has a different solution. For example in book 1 Post Bear Paddy might have persuaded Blitzen to fly to Sierra Nevada so the pair can pan for gold. While in book 2 Mrs Christmas might have ordered Vixen to fly her to Istanbul to go shopping in the bazaar. Also, where possible, the individual puzzles within the books have different solutions.
This enables you to give a copy of "Who stole Santa's sleigh?" to two people living in the same house and each of them will still have their own unique challenge.

MERRYMURDER SWEEPSTAKE
There is also provision in the book to have a merrymurder sweepstake. Before puzzling commences, interested parties can draw suspects, reindeers, and sleigh destinations from a hat. When the solution is discovered, those people who drew the guilty suspect, reindeer, and sleigh destination can each claim a small prize.
