"The Murder of Mrs Whyte" was inspired by a famous board game.  If you look at the characters' names it isn't hard to identify which!  But if you need any further clues, a candlestick and a spanner feature quite prominently in the story line!

This is a very enjoyable romp for playing with friends.  As there are only six suspects, you would expect it to be one of the easier games to solve.  But surprisingly it has the lowest percentage of correct solvers out of all my games.  Only an observant investigator will spot the correct motive, although it is discreetly drawn to the attention at three points along the game.

If you are looking for a traditional country house murder with a well integrated plot and a twist at the end, "The Murder of Mrs Whyte" is for you!
