This game originally had the working title "Nursery (C)rhymes"! It is one of my personal favourites, mainly because it seemed so effortless to write. The reason was that I knew so much about my characters and their relationships already. Tom Tom the Piper's son stole a pig? Obviously it came from Old MacDonald's farm! The Old Woman in a Shoe has lots of children? Make it a Boot camp school for problem kids! Georgie Porgie is obviously a lothario, and make booze, fags and gambling the reason for Old Mother Hubbard being so poor! Among the mystery witnesses in this game you will find a whole host of nursery rhyme characters - all moved on from when their rhymes were written. "Polly put the Kettle on" is now head of Pease Pudding Industries. "Jack be Nimble" has used his dexterity to become a successful safe breaker! A good, solidly crafted, adult murder mystery game! |
